Despite the challenges brought by the global COVID-19 pandemic, Girls for Excellent Performance (GEP) remains committed to ensuring that vital Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information reaches young women and girls in communities across Liberia. As part of this commitment, GEP organized an educational outreach workshop in the Duport Road Cowfield Community in Monrovia.

The workshop focused on providing young women and girls with essential knowledge on key topics including menstrual hygiene management, the prevention of teenage pregnancy, and family planning. Through interactive discussions and practical guidance, participants were empowered with accurate information that enables them to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and future.

The session created a safe and supportive space where participants could openly ask questions, share experiences, and learn from experienced facilitators. By addressing misconceptions and promoting healthy practices, the workshop aimed to strengthen awareness and build confidence among young women in managing their reproductive health.

Girls for Excellent Performance extends heartfelt appreciation to its hardworking team members whose dedication ensured the success of the program. Special thanks also go to the facilitators, Mrs. Musu Mulbah and Mr. Tanu Kpedebah, for their impactful presentations and commitment to educating and empowering the participants.

This initiative reflects GEP’s broader mission to promote health education, protect the rights of girls and young women, and support communities with the knowledge and tools needed to build healthier and more informed generations.
